Obituary of Lilly Tingvold

LILLY TINGVOLD January 27, 1925 – January 5, 2017 Lilly passed away peacefully in Avonlea on Thursday, January 5, 2017. She was predeceased by her parents Jacob and Oline, one sister Olga, three brothers, twins Edward and Knute and Willie, three half-brothers Helmer, Oliver and Christian Omoth. Lilly is survived by her sister Gina Arneson of Regina; nine nieces and nephews, Carol Arneson, Robert Omoth, Rick Arneson, Sharon Lang, Dianne McFarlane, June Rouse, Shirley Ross, John Arneson and Walter Omoth and her special friend Rose Marie Pirie. Lilly was born and raised on the family farm in the Wilcox District. She remained on the farm, caring for her mother and brothers for a number of years. After leaving the farm, Lilly continued a working career with Regina Pioneer Village until retirement. Interment will be held at Riverside Memorial Park, 815 Assiniboine Avenue on Thursday, January 12, 2017 at 2:30 p.m. followed by a Memorial Service at Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, Regina, SK at 3:30 p.m. To leave an online message of condolence, please visit www.speersfuneralchapel.com
