LORNA VELMA MAE PHILLIPS (née PUTLAND) On Sunday, January 15, 2017, Lorna, late of Avonlea, passed away at the age of 81 years. Predeceased by her parents, Vera and Edward Putland; husband Merwin; siblings, Mary (Gordon) Yanke and Denis (Diann) Putland, Lorna is survived by her children, Darlene (Wayne) Watson and their children, Calvin (Emily) and their children, Asher, Zander, Coda, and Blakely, Mark (Judy) and their children Owen, Molly, Pam (Tyler) and their children Zoey and Charlie; Roy (Darcy) Phillips and their children Robyn (Greg) and their children Jackson, Bridget, and Oliver, Steven (Crystal) and their children Alba and Smith, Rebecca (Rowan) and their children Tali and Beatrix, Marsha (Spencer) and their children Brooklyn, Hayley, Lincoln, and Peyton; Wanda (Bill) MacDonald and their children, Jason (Tanya) and their children Alexa-Rose and Averi-Lynn, and Nathan (Tanis Bouchard); Susan (Jerome) Eberle and children, Jared (Karlee) and their son Malakai, Jessica (Balint) and their children, Gweneth and Alexander, Melissa (Mike Ricard) and their children, Emric and Esmae, and Miranda; Michelle (Mike) Postma and their children, Janis (Mike Peji) and their daughter Sophie, and Robert (Darci Pickard) and their daughter Lexi; Kevin (Sonya) Phillips and their children, Samuel and Elijah; siblings, Jean (John) Baptist, Bill (Vel) Putland, Leila Shiels, and Leslie (Jean) Putland; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Celebration of Life will be held in the Avonlea Community Centre, Avonlea, SK on Monday, February 6, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. A Family Greeting will precede the service at 1:00 p.m. Interment in Avonlea Cemetery.
