Obituary of Dora Myers

SEPTEMBER 15, 1931 – DECEMBER 21, 2016 Dora passed into her eternal home early on Wednesday, December 21, 2016. She was born in the Bankend, SK area where she raised her family before moving to Regina. Dora will be remembered for her love of cooking, canning and creating amazing smells and tastes. She lovingly grew various vegetables and flowers and loved to share her bounty. She was not afraid to take on a challenging task and exemplified the term “pioneer”. She took pride in caring for her home and supporting those in her neighborhood. Dora loved to learn, followed the stock market, watched competitive sports and loved to cheer for the Riders and Blue Jays. Randy and Karen Kluz are so grateful to the medical staff at the Pasqua Hospital, the support and prayers from loved ones and Dora’s extended family. In honoring Dora’s wishes, there will be no funeral service. A private celebration of Dora’s life will take place in the spring which was her favourite time of the year. In lieu of flowers, friends so wishing may make memorial donations in Dora’s name to the charity close to her heart; Regina Humane Society, Box 3143, Regina, SK, S4P 3G7.
