With tears in my eyes I write with my pen my final goodbye to my uncle ken. As well as my uncle u were also my friend.i know in my heart this isn't the end. I pray that u made it to those big pearly gates . I pray that it's there the angels do wait.i pray that u see all the faces you've missed ,and that there's nothing but peace just as we wished.As far back as I remember you've always been there with only your presence I knew that u cared u were one of my heros as a girl growing up u always dressed cool u knew u were tough. I looked forward to seeing u each Time I came home when we talked I felt less alone never once did you judge me or push me aside . U gave me the courage to step on that ride.. Do u remember we laughed till we cried!!? On our life's journey we took similar roads most of them rocky not many of them smooth. Over the years we've said goodbye several times .Taking for granted we both would be fine.what if we'd known when we said our last goodbye ,the next time that we'd meet would be in the sky.wed sit on the front step and play one more game neither of us feeling guilt ,pain, or shame. Rest in peace uncle ken till we meet again.
