Obituary of Jack Scherle

JACK SCHERLE Jack, late of Qu’Appelle, SK, passed away suddenly on Sunday, January 29, 2017 at the age of 88 years. He was predeceased by his parents William and Ida Scherle, wife Marjory Scherle, granddaughter Terri Carson, brothers Fred, Harold, Albert and Frank Scherle and sister Irene Emperingham. Jack is survived by his children Marlene Schmidt, Ken Scherle (Penny) and Richard Scherle; grandchildren Tracey Schmidt, Mike Schmidt, Bobbi Schiller (Chris) and Roy Carson; great-grandchildren Miranda, Kayla, Tyla, Madison, Braden, Preston and Amelia; sisters-in-law Florence Scherle and Evelyne Sayer; special cousins Annabelle Wolfe and Martha Ingles as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Jack was an honest, hardworking man; kind, caring and proud of his family. He loved his farm and his animals. Most of all he enjoyed meeting people, telling a good story and having a good laugh. A Memorial Service will be held at Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, Regina, SK on Saturday, February 4, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. Interment to follow at a later date.
