Obituary of Helen Augusta McInnis

HELEN AUGUSTA McINNIS (née ENGEL) July 28, 1921 – February 12, 2017 Helen passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 12, 2017 at the age of 95 years. She was predeceased by parents Mary and John Engel, husband Bill McInnis, sisters Elsa Burns (Johnny), Rose Miller (Andy), Anne Kusch (Len), Edith Dojack (George) and Em Barton (Ed), sons Tony and Bob, daughter Lynne Cameron and great-granddaughter Betty Lou. Left to mourn Helen, her daughter Leigh McInnis; son Gary (Sharon); son-in-law Terry Cameron; daughter-in-law Pat (Kirk Gelinas); grandchildren A.J., Kevin, Shelly, Leigh Anne, and Morgan; and brother-in-law Bob (Joan) McInnis. Helen worked in many different places including: Dojack’s National Musical Supply, cashier at Rex Theatre, Secretary at Regina Cartage and Storage Co. Ltd., Dispatcher at Yellow Cab Co., and secretary at Canadian National Railway, J.I. Case Co., H.J. Quinn Insurance Agency, Assistant Provincial Secretary of the Cooperative Commonwealth Federation, Budget Bureau, Economic Advisory and Planning Board, South Sask. River Development Commission and secretary to D.M. Sask. Environment Department. Flowers are gratefully declined.
