Obituary of Stella Hlynski (nee Shiplack)

JULY 22, 1926 – FEBRUARY 22, 2017 Stella, late of Regina, SK, passed away peacefully at the age of 90 years. She was predeceased by her parents Michael and Anastasia Shiplack; two brothers, Walter and Phillip Shiplack and one son, Orest Allan Sachary in infancy. Stella is survived by her two sons Ted (Sharon) Chomick and Orest Terrace Sachary; two daughters Diana (Keith) Duncan and Iris (Robert) Lewis; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren and sister Carolina Miller. Mom loved her family, her Ukrainian heritage and her many gardens. She was a fantastic baker and cook and fed anyone who knocked on her door no matter the time of day. Visitation for family and friends will take place at Speers Funeral Chapel, on Wednesday, March 1, 2017 from 7:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, Regina, SK, on Thursday, March 2, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Vitaliy Ihnativ officiating. Interment in Riverside Memorial Park.
