LLOYD (CHAS) THOMSON August 3, 1931 – March 4, 2017 With heartfelt sorrow and deepest regret we announce the sudden passing of Lloyd (Chas) Thomson of Fort Qu'Appelle at age 85 surrounded by his family at the Regina General Hospital. He is predeceased by his parents Adam and Annie Thomson and siblings, Margaret (Peggy), Donald, and Evelyn. He is survived by his loving wife Betty and children, Darcy (Kathy), Daniel (Sharon), Cheryl (John), Greg and Lisa (Ward), 14 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. He was born and raised in Regina, Saskatchewan, attended Balfour Collegiate, and then graduated technical school in Montreal. He retired in 1987 after a long successful career at Sasktel. You could always find Chas at the local coffee shop where he indulged in his greatest passions of drinking coffee and debating hot topics with old and new friends.
