Cora-Mae was born on April 18, 1940 in Nokomis, SK. She grew up on a farm outside of Raymore, SK. Cora-Mae attended Raymore high school and worked for a short time at the Raymore Co-op and Credit Union. She met her husband Cliff soon after and settled in Regina to raise their family.
