Obituary of Gordon Andrew Krattenthaler

November 16, 1937- March 9, 2017 Another Angel has received his wings. Gordon Andrew Krattenthaler, late of Regina, SK, passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 9, 2017 with his wife and children by his side at the age of 79 years. He was predeceased by his parents Andrew and Anne. Gordon is survived by his loving wife of 53 years Gayle; his children Andrea Grabarczyk (Basil), Greg Krattenthaler (Alana) and Suzanne Finch (Dave); his grandchildren Robin, Katy, Michaela, Hayley, Ethan, Desana, Andrew and Tessa; his sisters Dianne Lipon (Nick), Mary Anne Winter(Noll) and their families. Gordon was born and raised in Regina. He attended St. Josephs’ Elementary School, Campion College High School and then went on to complete a Business Administration Degree at the University of Denver. His first job was with Clarkson Gordon Accounting. He owned his own real estate company, Executive Real Estate and was a realtor and member of Saskatchewan Real Estate Association for over 35 years. Gordon also helped run the family real estate company A. K. Holdings Ltd. and worked closely with his father until his passing. Gordon was involved with the company until his own passing. He was a member of the Queen City Kiwanis Club and enjoyed the close friendships he had with all the members. Gordon's grandchildren meant the world to him and he loved attending all their activities. He loved the cabin on Echo Lake and spent as much time out there as possible. He will miss his buddies on “coffee row”. Gordon’s generous, loving nature, big smile, wonderful sense of humor and passion for life will be missed always. Another great one is gone. The family would like to express their gratitude to Dr. Laura Stark, ND. Without her help he never would have fought so valiantly to beat his disease. Funeral Mass and a Celebration of Gordon’s Life will take place at Resurrection R.C. Church, 3155 Windsor Park Rd., Regina, SK on Friday March 31, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. Those so wishing may make donations in Gordon’s memory to Ducks Unlimited, Head Office Box 1160 Stonewall, Manitoba, R0C 2Z0
