We are very saddened by the sudden passing of Betty Beaglehole. Betty was one of the very first visitors at Slate FIne Art Gallery when we opened in April 2013. She welcomed us to the neighbourhood with many good wishes and much enthusiasm. We thoroughly enjoyed her frequent visits to view our exhibitions and will miss the many insightful discussions we had about artwork, literature and the general state of affairs in todays world. She will not be forgotten!

Dear Peter and Judith. Betty passed on the very day "The Staplefords Gals" met for lunch, our first since the tea at Sheila's, last May. We spoke of Betty, and her past troubles, as many of us had met her over the years. She is at peace now. Heartfelt sympathy and blessings to you both. C & T Kembel
