Obituary of Eadie Georgina Stetner

EADIE STETNER (GOLDSWORTHY) It is with broken hearts that the family of Eadie Stetner share her passing on Monday, March 13, 2017, surrounded by her loving family, following a courageous battle with cancer. She was predeceased by her loving first husband Gordon Goldsworthy in 1997; her wonderful parents, Ruby Eisler in 2015 and Larry Eisler in 2003; and her dear brother Keith Eisler in 2016. Eadie is survived by her devoted husband Donald Stetner, of Regina; her loving children, Katherine Owens (Travis), of Regina, and Robert Goldsworthy (Darren), of Halifax; her beloved granddaughter Tori Owens, of Regina; her stepdaughters, Lindsay Stetner (Kristian Helmerson), of Regina, and Lesley Stetner (Nathan Wilson) and their beautiful new baby boy Fletcher Wilson, of Regina; sister Patricia (Bill) King, of Parksville; brother Dwight Eisler, of Balgonie; as well as many nieces and nephews and wonderful friends, all of whom she loved dearly. Family and friends meant the world to Eadie and her generous, loving nature, wonderful sense of humor, and zest for life will be missed always by all who knew her. Funeral Mass will be held at Blessed Sacrament R.C. Church, 2049 Scarth Street, Regina, SK on Saturday, March 18, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. A reception will follow at the Hotel Saskatchewan at 12:30 p.m. The family would like to extend their sincere gratitude to the wonderful nurses and staff on unit 4D at the Pasqua hospital for filling moms last days with compassionate care, and Dr. Iqbal and everyone at Allan Blair.
