Obituary of Clare Van Luven

Anson Clare Van Luven, late of Cupar, SK, passed away peacefully on Friday, May 5, 2017, at the age of 89.  He farmed from 1947 to 1999 north of Dysart, along Jumping Deer Creek.  Predeceased by his parents Roy Van Luven and Dorothy Bradshaw; brother Charlie, sister Marilyn Mitchell, Clare is survived by his wife of 70 years, Lillian; sister Norma Flemming; sister-in-law Helen Van Luven; five children, Lynne (Drew), Ray (Loretta), Colleen (Wayne), Mark (Tammy), Michelle (Tom). Clare left eleven grandchildren, Leah (Andrew), Kelly (Chad), Regan (Jaret), Tyler (Dion), Brodie, Shea (Danielle), Landon, Carson, Laine, Taitt, Kaia and fourteen great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.  A private family memorial will be held later this week.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Clare's name to Shalom Nursing Home, 213 Mills Street, Cupar, SK, S0G 0Y0.
