Obituary of Elizabeth Vera Mitchell

Elizabeth passed away on Sunday, May 7, 2017 at the age of 73 years. She was predeceased by her parents Ted and Helen Susa; husband Donald; sister Pat Hoodle and mother-in-law Ethel Mitchell. Elizabeth is survived by her daughter Debbie (James) Goodman of Calgary, AB; son Tom (Shaunna) Mitchell of Surrey, BC; grandchildren, Nikki, Katie, Michael and Brandy; brother Peter (Elizabeth) Susa of Regina, SK; best friend and companion Floyd Rose and his children Tammy (Wayne) Rose and Tanya (Keith) Rainville and their families; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Elizabeth was born in Taber, AB.  She was very proud of her long career with Sears Canada. When she retired from Sears, Liz continued to work in various positions, like Government House and Lots of Looks where Liz was honored to assist clientele. She loved to travel and found great joy in antiquing and spending time with family and friends. Funeral Service will be held at Westhill Park Baptist Church, 8025 Sherwood Drive, Regina, SK, on Friday, May 12, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Dr. David Simpson officiating.  Interment in Riverside Memorial Park. A special thank you to the Palliative Care Unit at the Pasqua Hospital for taking such special care of our mom.
