My condolences to the Howe family on the passing of Merle. I didn't know him a long time, but he made such a huge impact on my life. Our times alone opened my eyes in many ways. Even though it was difficult I am glad - and honoured - that I was there at the very end. He was the only other man I had the respect for to call him dad. I miss him terribly, but he is Home with his family and friends and no longer suffering.
