Obituary of Cameron Malcolm McGillivray

CAMERON MALCOLM MCGILLIVRAY
1952 – 2017

Cameron passed away on Saturday, May 13, 2017 at his home in Buena Vista, with family at his side.

Cameron is survived and mourned by his wife of forty-two years, Marlene; his daughter Lisa and her husband François Laurent; his granddaughter Lily Cameron Laurent; his daughter Lori and her husband Everett Moroz; his grandson Oscar Everett McGillivray Moroz; his siblings Miles (Deb) McGillivray, Brent McGillivray, Scott (Lori) McGillivray, Bonnie McGillivray (Grant Skomorowski) and Shelley (Bruce) Holmes; his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Donna McGillivray, Elgin Duke, Ivan (Sharon) Duke, Dianne (Lorne) Beer, Ron (Steph) Duke, and Doreen (Perry) Brace; his aunts and uncles Marcia (Randy) Bell, Loretta Jackson, Elvara (Frank) Davidson, Bonnie Rasmussen; in addition to so many nieces, nephews, cousins, colleagues, and friends.

Cameron was predeceased by his father Malcolm; his mother Hannah; his brothers Malcolm and Murray; his father-in-law Lloyd; his mother-in-law Annie; his niece Leanne; and his dear friends who have passed before their time.

A Memorial Service to Celebrate Cameron’s Life was held at Westhill Park Baptist Church, Regina, SK on Sunday, June 4, 2017.

Thank you to all who have poured their love into the McGillivray family during this time of loss as we are reminded of so many Cameron has touched. We will miss you dearly; beloved husband, father, grandfather, father-in-law, brother, brother-in-law, uncle, cousin, nephew, friend.
