Fr. Van was a great friend to my parents, Andy and Ethel Stroh when he was our Parish Priest at St. Peter's in Regina. My parents were the first Parish Counsel Chairpersons and he played Bridge with them as well. Later he became my Spiritual Director. As you know Fr. Van was a great man, very wise and loving. He was are great blessing and a friend to all of us. It gives me joy to think of the three of them together now that they are home.

Fr. Van was a long time Spiritual Director and donor for Birthright in Regina. We are very thankful for his loving and wise support. He was helpful and supportive and always available for us. We always counted on his prayers and will continue to do so. It is with sadness that we say Goodbye for now.

Jan I am so sorry to hear that Father Van has died. He was such a nice man. I am so glad that we had a visit with him last summer when I was in Regina. My prayers go out to you and the family.
