DOUGLAS THOMASON

Doug, late of Regina, SK, passed away suddenly at home on Friday, June 23, 2017 at the age of 70 years. He was predeceased by his children, Rhonda and Greg; parents, John and Margaret; brother Roger; niece Kendra; father- and mother-in-law, Bob and Laura Logan; and brother-in-law Jim Laird. Doug is survived by his wife of over 50 years, Thelma; brothers, Leonard, Neil (Gloria) and family; sister-in-law Merle and family; in-laws, Maureen (Ralph) Johnson, Laura (John) Krawetz, Evelyn Laird, Rhoda (Ian) Shurgot, Robert and Marcia Logan and their families; as well has his beloved pets. Doug, the oldest of four boys, grew up on the family farm in the Kedleston Community. He was active in the 4-H. Doug worked in the Co-op system from 1966 to 1983 and lived in communities of Bethune, Semans, and Liberty. In 1983, Doug and Thelma moved to Regina, where he pursued a career in the tire industry for the next 25 years. Upon his retirement, he enjoyed doing what he wanted, when he wanted. Memorial Service to Celebrate Doug’s Life will be held at Bethune Community Hall, 524 East Street, Bethune, SK on Friday, June 30, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. A private interment will be held.
