Our condolences go out to Colleen's extensive family and close friends. Anne and I have had the pleasure of seeing and visiting with her at different special occasions over the years.
I especially have fond memories of Colleen. Growing up in Yellow Grass; David and I became friends at a young age through the Lutheran Church. Many times after church I would be invited to have lunch with the Altwasser family by Colleen. Her table was full with her young family but she always had room for me. She was so kind and generous and her home was always open to me over the many years of growing up.
She was a true testament to the term "a great mom" .
She created wonderful memories for me and for that I will always be grateful.
May your special memories of your mom carry you through the days and years to come.
