Obituary of Mary Cecilia Stopanski

MARY CECILIA STOPANSKI

December 17, 1926 – July 9, 2017

Mary, late of Regina, SK passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 9, 2017. She was predeceased by her husband William (Bill); sisters Ann Gola and Annie (Alexson) Blahut; brothers William (Bill) Chodak, Steve Alexson and John Alexson. Mary is survived by her daughters Brenda (Phil) Laliberte, Belinda Stopanski, Bonita (Steve) Dore; grandchildren Danielle (Jon) Doll, Michael Laliberte (Angela Senenko), Erin Dore (Thi Vo) and Stephen Dore; great-granddaughter Chelsea Dore-Vo; brothers Peter Chodak and Mike Chodak; sister-in-law Joyce Stopanski; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and other family relatives. She attended public and high school at Margo, SK and also Success Business School, Saskatoon, SK. Mary worked at various jobs in Regina and retired from the Government in 1986. She volunteered and canvassed her time for many organizations. Mary enjoyed time spent with family, and watching the Roughriders. A Family Service will be held with Rev. Fr. Vladimir Simunovic officiating. The family would like to thank Dr. McMeekin-Down and staff, The Congestive Heart Clinic, and Selo Gardens Personal Care Home for all the special care and attention given to our mother.
