Obituary of John Douglas Allen

JOHN DOUGLAS ALLEN

April 5, 1929 – July 12, 2017

John passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 12, 2017 at the age of 88 years. He was born in Moose Jaw, SK and farmed in Wilcox, SK his entire life. John was predeceased by his parents, John M. and Mary S. Allen; and siblings, William D. Allen, Marjorie Haney. He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Joan (née Watkins); children, Douglas (Angie) Allen and their children, Tyler and Stephanie, Jayne (Brad) Newman and their children, Jennifer and Melony, and Joanne Allen and her son Michael; sister Edith Donald and family; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. Memorial Service will be held at Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, Regina, SK on Sunday, July 16, 2017 at 3:30 p.m.
