Obituary of Kenneth Allan Hogelie

KENNETH ALLAN HOGELIE

November 18, 1944 – July 25, 2017

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father, and grandfather (GuGu), Ken Hogelie, age 72 on Tuesday, July 25, 2017 with his loving wife of almost 48 years, Lorraine by his side. Ken was predeceased by his parents, Olaf and Clara Hogelie; and in-laws, Tony and Mary Lawford. He is survived by his loving wife Lorraine; his beloved children, Derek (Alicia Putz), and Debra (Doug Buchanan); his most precious joy, his grandchildren, Emerson and Serena Hogelie, all of Regina; brothers, Bernie (Judy) of Chilliwack, B.C. and Larry of Regina; brother-in-law Jim Lawford (Mary Ellen Clancey) of Ottawa, ON; as well as numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, and great friends. The family would like to thank Regina EMS, Dr. Booker and all staff at the Cardiac Care Unit at the Regina General Hospital for your professionalism and compassion. Celebration of Ken’s Life will be held at Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, Regina, SK on Tuesday, August 8, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. Flowers most graciously declined.
