Obituary of Jean-Marc Eugène Champigny

JEAN-MARC EUGÈNE CHAMPIGNY

October 18, 1982 – July 30, 2017

Taken too soon, it is with great sadness that we announce the sudden death of Jean-Marc Eugene Champigny. Left to cherish his memory is his spouse Ashton Malcolm; parents Dale and Omer Champigny; sister Roxanne (Cody) Larocque; niece Alicia; grandmother Jeanne Champigny; and a large extended family of aunts, uncles, and cousins. Born in Brandon, MB (while the family was enroute to Ottawa), Jean-Marc graduated from Archbishop M.C. O’Neill Catholic High School, in French Immersion, and he was fortunate to be raised in both Regina and Ottawa. He was currently employed with Concept3 Business Interiors Ltd., Regina. Jean-Marc will be fondly remembered for his strong work ethic, cooking (and prep work) for every family gathering, his joie de vie, and lively spirit. His life was rarely quiet, seldom boring, and filled with love. Memorial Service will be held at Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Ave, Regina, SK on Friday, August 4, 2017 at 6:30 p.m. A second celebration of life and interment will be held in Oak Lake, MB at a later date. In lieu of flowers, if desired, donations in Jean-Marc’s memory may be made to the Canadian Heart and Stroke Foundation, 1738 Quebec Avenue, Unit 26, Saskatoon, SK S7K 1V9 or a charity of your choice.
