DAVID THOMAS PELZER

In loving memory of an awesome and amazing son, brother, uncle, grandson, and friend who was taken from us way too soon and who passed away on Sunday, July 30, 2017 in Regina, SK. David was born on December 27, 1985 in Regina, SK. He was predeceased by his Grandpa Raymond Donnithorne Thomas; Opa Nathan Natanael Pelzer; and Aunt Marta Thomas. David is survived by his parents, Kurt and Beverley; brothers, Jason (Orenda) and Robert (Lindsay); nephew Nathaniel; nieces, Natalie, Megan, and Ellie; Grandma Maryanne Thomas; Oma Ruth Pelzer; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. He is also survived by his very special friend Rachael Dosh. David went to Grant Road School and Campbell Collegiate. He graduated from Luther College, University of Regina with a degree in Bachelor of Arts with a major in Justice Studies and a minor in Sociology. David worked with the Ministry of Justice at the Court of Queens Bench and most recently at Service Canada as a Benefits Officer in Regina. He had a big heart and cared about everyone around him. David had a great sense of humour and could make anyone laugh. He loved gaming and had numerous online friends all around the world. David enjoyed travelling to meet up with them at gaming conferences. Music was important to him and he found comfort and peace when listening to his favourite bands. Above all, family was the most important thing in David’s life. Celebration of David’s Life will be held at Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, Regina, SK on Saturday, August 5, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Craig Moeller officiating. Private family interment at Riverside Memorial Park Cemetery will take place. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of David may be made to the Canadian Heart and Stroke Foundation, 1738 Quebec Avenue, Unit 26, Saskatoon, SK S7K 1V9 or to a charity of your choice.
