Obituary of Diane Marie Nelson

It is with deep trust in Jesus’ gracious love that we announce the passing of Diane, affectionately known as “Baby Bear” by her husband Jerry.  Diane was born in Lafleche, SK in 1957 and went to be with her Lord and Saviour on Saturday, August 5, 2017.  She was predeceased by her parents, Marcel and Ethel Perrey.  Diane is survived by her loving husband Jerry; her sons, Ryan (Rhea), Tyler, Travis (Christine), James, Mark, Matthew and Jonathan; four grandchildren, Annalise, Alexander, Callie and Jade; siblings, Leona, Emile (Betty), Evelyn (Allan), Paul (Nancy), Leonard and Dennis; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She will be greatly missed by her many friends, co-workers and spiritual family. Diane’s life’s devotion was to Jesus, her family and working as a nurse on the oncology ward at the Pasqua Hospital. She always showed compassion for others in their time of need. The family invites you to join them in a Celebration of Diane’s Life at Harvest City Church, 2202 8th Avenue North, Regina, SK on Saturday, August 12, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, those so wishing may make memorial donations in Diane’s name to the Canadian Cancer Society, 1910 McIntyre Street, Regina, SK, S4P 2R3.
