Mrs. Simard -- was a true lady in every sense of the word. She was always friendly, kind and loved to laugh with her friends. She was a good friend to our Auntie Jessie Summerfeld they spent lots of time together. When Auntie passed away -- Mrs. Simard helped me see all the wonderful things that Auntie had done in her life. I will always treasure those talks. May you as a family find comfort in all the wonderful memories you have with your Mom.

Antoinette was a very special friend! I was involved playing for the Senior Songsters in Meadow Lake for 15 years while Antoinette sang in the choir. She was so energetic for her age! I remember her driving a sports car, golfing and travelling. She told me about her trip to Panama (but ended up in Florida)! She definitely had a lot of spunk, and was a great role model.
One time, I invited her and Mrs Jean Gorst to tell stories of the early days to the grade ones, who were intently listening. I could imagine her as a wonderful teacher. May she rest in peace.

Our condolences on the passing of your mother. 105 is incredible, you were so blessed to have her that long. We remember her fondly with our grandmothers and mothers on committees and donating her time to Meadow Lake. Hello Giselle. From the families of Prudat, Bronken and Sergents

I am so sorry to hear about the passing of your mother. She was such a good friend to our mother, Gertie Hoehn. It was wonderful to know that she had her children by her side, given that two of you were at the Carpenter High reunion. It was good to see you both Ron and Louise last week. My sincerest condolences to both of you and your families.

Mrs. Simard was a wonderful lady, and an amazing teacher. (Grade 4, Jubilee School). She was proud of her students and gave praises that will never be forgotten. I am not surprised that she lived to 105 years old, I believe she was blessed with the gift of longevity because of the love she shared with those that crossed her path. I pray comfort and peace for her family in your loss.
