Greetings of peace!
I am contacting you from The Mother Teresa Center which is a non–profit organization established and directed by the Missionaries of Charity (religious order Mother Teresa founded) to promote deeper knowledge of Mother Teresa’s life, work, holiness, spirituality and message.
Recently, a friend of ours brought to our notice an article from the REGINA LEADER-POST: (https://leaderpost.com/news/local-news/regina-woman-remembers-her-friendship-with-mother-teresa-the-worlds-newest-saint) back in September 2016 about your mother Gerry whom we came to know was the former National Chair of the Co-workers of Mother Teresa. This article touched our hearts and we are grateful to know about your mother's association and friendship with Mother Teresa and all that she did to assist Mother in her work of love among the poor and suffering.
We tried to get in touch with your mother through the newspaper to request her to share with us her testimony about Mother Teresa and obtain the copies of her scrap book which contain such precious photos and information on Mother. They sadly informed us of her going home to Jesus amazingly a year after Mother's Canonization. We offer you are condolences and pray for the repose of her soul believing deep in our hearts that God will reward her for her love for the poor and Mother Teresa must have welcomed her with open arms just as she welcomed Mother on this earth. We are now trying to get in touch with you somehow to see if you can help us in obtaining anything that you might have from your mother about Mother Teresa.
Any interesting information or detail about her, that she might have had is of great interest to us, much in the same way that the memories of your mother is precious to you and your siblings. If you have any photos or writings (documents) of Mother Teresa we would appreciate copies of those as well. Every photo, document or testimony forms an important piece in a mosaic in her rich life and the more pieces we put together the more complete the picture. We would keep these on our record and in case we would ever use any of these documents or anything from these, we would obtain your prior approval and permission. We are not sure if this way will help to get in touch with you but we do not know of any other way.
