Obituary of Vicky Scott

On Tuesday, September 12, 2017 Vicky “Nanny” Scott (nee Kreklewetz) passed away peacefully at the accomplished age of 98. She was predeceased by her husband Bill; three sisters and three brothers. She is loved and remembered by her children, Marg (Dave), Bob (Reta), Bill (Linda), Doug (Pauline) and Deb (Darryl); thirteen grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren and her sister Audrey (Micheal). Vicky always had a positive outlook and zest for life and was adored by many neighbours and friends. She led a busy and active social life up to the young age of 90, from hosting many visits with friends and family, trips to the Globe Theatre, exercise class, the library to even trick or treating. She loved spending time outdoors in whatever form she could from walking, gardening, to simply sitting outside to enjoy the fresh air. She also enjoyed watching or listening to any sporting event, but it was the Riders and the Blue Jays she especially loved. Even after she could no longer attend Rider home games, she remained the ultimate 13th man up until her passing. The family would like to extend a special thank you to all the staff at Princess Villa (especially Madel) for the wonderful care given to Vicky over her last few years. A private family graveside service will be held at a later date.
