Obituary of Horst Heinz Naujok

Horst, 81 years, of Regina, SK, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 12, 2017 at the Regina Wascana Grace Hospice in Regina. Horst is survived by his children, Heidi (Les) Krenbrink, Tammy (David) Flett, Heather Naujok, Grant Dusterhoft, Trevor (Michele) Dusterhoft and Andrea Ludwig; grandchildren, Kristen, Jamie, Nathan, Jacob, Laura, Julia, Ava, Rachael, Hannah, Aleisha, Brandon, Monica and Lucas; seven great-grandchildren; two sisters, Helga Preter and Sybille Feinaugle both of Germany; as well as numerous brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews. Horst trained as a mechanic in Germany before coming to Canada in 1957 to continue his trade. He helped many farmers out when their machinery broke down. One of Horst’s greatest passions in life was music. He loved to sing and was always an eager member of church choirs and male voice choirs. He especially loved to sing songs from his homeland with the Volksliederchor Harmonie to which he was a long time member.  Horst often found himself as a soloist for many events including weddings, funerals and concerts.  He will be remembered for his beautiful singing voice. A special thanks to the staff and volunteers of the Regina Wascana Grace Hospice.  Funeral Service will be held at Mount Olive Church, 2015 4th Avenue North, Regina, SK on Saturday, September 16, 2017 at 11:00 a.m.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Regina Wascana Grace Hospice, 50 Angus Road, Regina, SK, S4R 8P6 or to Mount Olive Lutheran Church.
