Obituary of George Miron

George passed away peacefully with family by his side on Friday, September 22, 2017 at the age of 83 years. He was predeceased by his parents, Alexander Miron and Annie Tyler; and brothers, John and Donald Miron. George is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Holly; children, Rick (Gail), Sandra (Dave), and Lisa; grandchildren, Amanda, Garrick, Arianna, Brittany, Alanna, and Gregory; siblings, William (Diona) Miron and Doreen (Pete) Truch; special friends, Murray, Erin, Morgan, Kate-Lyn, Kevin, and Patrick; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. George’s life was filled with work, with the passion for fabricating, building, and fixing things. Generally, he was a master of all trades. He shared his knowledge freely and was always willing to lend a hand. George enjoyed his grandchildren, family gatherings, and coffee with the Robins crew. Memorial Service will be held at Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, Regina, SK on Saturday, September 30, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. Interment will be held in Riverside Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of George may be made to a charity of choice.
