Doreen - Multiple Myeloma was the reason our paths crossed in the summer of 2015 on 3B at the Pasqua Hospital. Your Kirby - My Mom Gladys embarking on this huge journey called Myeloma and we the family along for the ride and oh what a ride!. I think we both can say that we met a lot of amazing people on this ride - you being one of them for me. Your dedication, love and support for Kirby was so obvious. He was so very fortunate to have you by his side. Mom lost her battle February 17, 2017. When I saw Kirby's photo of course there was heartache and sadness as a lot of memories returned but I think we can agree that at last they are finally at peace. Our guardian angels now watching over us. My most heartfelt sympathy to you Doreen and all of Kirby's family Take care always, Karen Fahlman

Dear Earl, Doreen, Kelly and family. It is with heartfelt sadness that we received the news of Kirbys pasing. Kirby has always held a special spot in our hearts. We have so many fond menories of Kirby during our years on the Silcox farms. One of our favourites is his incredible memory for license plates numbers and where equipment was parked and how quick he was to question Ken the whereabouts of a certain piece of machinery was if it had been moved.
