Obituary of George Michael Boszak

It is with very heavy hearts and great sadness that we announce the passing of George, after a short battle with cancer on Tuesday, October 31, 2017 at the age of 83 years. He was surrounded by his daughter Sharon and nieces and nephews at the time of his death. George was predeceased by his wife Dorothy; parents, Mike and Louise Boszak; daughter Janice; mother-in-law and father-in-law Edna and Sid Cross; and sister-in-law Shirley Boszak. He is survived by his son Brian; daughters, Sharon (Dan) and Michele; three grandchildren, Adam (Melody), Drew (Chalcy), and Rheo (Jeff); two great grandchildren, Emma and Aubrey; siblings, Carl Boszak and Ted (Lorraine) Boszak; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Margaret (Joe) Masters, Bob (Loreen) Cross, and Gerald (Vi) Cross; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. George's life was his wife Dorothy, kids, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.  He loved fishing, music, dancing, traveling, and playing his guitar. Memorial Service will be held at Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, Regina, SK on Monday, November 6, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. Friends and family may make a donation, in memory of George, to the Canadian Cancer Society, 1910 McIntyre Street, Regina, SK, S4P 2R3.
