Dearest Family of Sister Margaret "Winifred" Brown. May I send my sympathy and condolences to you. We have lost one of the best ! I attended Marian High School whilst Sister Winifred was principal. She was one of the most influential examples of goodness!! Along with Sister Martin and Sister Imelda we were led as students to strive for the best, taught not give up and to uphold the Lord in every respect. They passed on their integrity and strength and absolutely infused us with their beliefs. To this day I remember them all well. I am very saddened at Sister Winifred's passing. She was such a great lady. She taught us so many things. One was how to sit properly; which by the way I passed on to my colleagues just the other day. I know that Sister Winifred Brown was welcomed into heaven as the Lord would have swung the gates wide open for her. The Lord would have said "well done my child". I couldn't help but cry when I got word. Good bye my dear Sister Winifred; we will all see you again when it is our turn to take the Lord's hand and cross over into your Kingdom. God Bless all of the family and thank you for sharing Sister Winifred with us. My Auntie Alyce Kleisinger knew many of the sisters. I visited them when I was very young and have never forgotten the respect that my family had for them. Auntie Alyce is in heaven too!!

Dear RNDM Sisters, I am sorry for my late response but I just got word of Winifred's death. Please accept my sincere condolences. She was a precious friend whose company and correspondence I shall miss. Be assured of my thoughts and prayers at this time. Pending the road conditions, I shall try to attend her funeral. I am deeply saddened to read about Sister Winnifred's recent death. I am a Trustee with the Regina Catholic School Board and I met Sr. Winnifred during one of our luncheons in honor of our Sisters. What a humble, gentle, lady who had dedicated her life in service to others. I enjoyed our conversations and learning about her life experiences. It was indeed my honour to meet her and to get to know her over my years on the School Board. Rest in peace dear lady. You are now among the angels and saints in heaven.

I remember very fondly, Sister Winnifred during my years at Marion High School. She was a beautiful soul, full of love and was very proud of all her Girls at Marion. I send my deepest sympathies to her family and friends. She truly was an angel here on earth.
