Obituary of Gregg Dennis Krauss

GREGG KRAUSS

May 29, 1960 - November 11, 2017

It is with great sorrow that the family of Gregg Krauss, son, brother, friend, announces that he passed away suddenly in Regina on Saturday, November 11th at the age of 57 years old.

Predeceased by his partner, Denise DeShield, mother, Miriam Krauss, grandparents Rev. Dr. Harry and Delores Mutchmor and Merle Brennagh, Gregg will forever be lovingly remembered by his father, Dennis Krauss, sister, Lynn (Erica) Krauss, half brother, Rob (Karen) Baron, and many dear friends.

Gregg attended Massey Elementary School and Campbell Collegiate where he enjoyed playing on the football and basketball teams. Gregg was a talented chef who launched many successful culinary endeavours, most notably the former Saje Gourmet Cafe and catering service. Rugby brought him a lot of happiness, both playing and socializing in the community. He enjoyed attending major musical events and snowbirding on the beaches in Mexico.

We are very grateful to the Law family of Regina for including Gregg in their family functions and special holidays over the years. A warm embrace to close friend JD Spelliscy, and we wish to recognize the six McDonald cousins and their mother, Gregg's Aunt Sallie, with whom Gregg grew up from his earliest life.

Memorial Service will be held at Speers Funeral Chapel on Friday, November 24, 2017 at 3:00 p.m. with Reception to follow at the Regina Rugby Union Clubhouse.  Interment at a later date.  Flowers gratefully declined; memorial donations in memory of Gregg can be made to a charity / foundation of your choice.
