Obituary of Welly Arthur Duke

Welly Arthur Duke passed away peacefully on Friday, December 15, 2017 at the age of 84 years. He leaves to mourn his wife Lila and daughter Jennifer. Welly was born on the family farm homestead near Truax, SK. He loved his cats, coyotes, horses, and loved sitting outdoors in the summer, watching birds and squirrels. Welly went to school at Maple Slope, walking on foot every day. His first job was on the CNR track in Truax. He then went on to help his father with the farming and eventually bought the farm when his parents retired to Regina. He will be missed by all. Celebration of Life will be held at Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, Regina, SK on January 3, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. Interment will be held at a later date in Truax Cemetery.
