Obituary of Arnold Otto Wagner
ARNOLD OTTO WAGNER
Arnold, late of Regina, SK, passed away suddenly on Thursday, December 21, 2017 at the age of 80 years. He was predeceased by his parents, Amalie and Karl; sisters, Matilda, Hedwig, Edna, and Lenora; and brother George. Arnold is survived by his loving wife Dorothy (née Burton); children, Bernadette (Jim), Steven (Cornelia) of Regina, Cheryl (Glen) of Cherry Grove, AB, and Adrienne (Mike) of Regina; grandchildren, Kate, Evan (Stefanie), Kyrstin (Adam), John, Marissa (Zach), Carlin, Kyla, Allie, Taryn, Jenica, Shane, and step-grandchildren Alyssa, Cooper, Carter, and Darby; sister Evelyn Dorosh of Crossfield, AB; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Arnold was born and raised in the Earl Grey district, baptized and confirmed at Christ Lutheran Church in Earl Grey, and graduated from Earl Grey High School. After several years farming, he settled into city life and single parenthood until he met Dorothy. They were married at Mount Olive Lutheran Church in Regina in 1984, and spent many summer weekends and holidays camping and winters playing cards and other games with family and friends. Arnold was a generous and loving man. He loved to have fun, especially with his grandchildren. Arnold loved them all and enjoyed attending their sporting events, musical concerts, and graduations, as well as time spent playing and joking around with them. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Memorial Service will be held at Mount Olive Lutheran Church, 2015 4th Avenue North, Regina, SK on Friday, December 29, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. Interment in Regina Memorial Gardens. Donations in memory of Arnold may be made to a charity of choice.
