Obituary of Melvin Elroy Ulmer

Melvin late of Regina, SK, passed away peacefully on Monday, December 25, 2017 at the age of 85 years. He was born in Duval, SK on November 4, 1932. Mel was predeceased by his parents Louie and Katie; sister Gloria (Topp) Aimoe; brothers Gerald and Donald; and in-laws Roy, Alex, Grace and Verna. Mel’s memory lives on with sisters, Eileen (Fred) and Ethel (Glenn); and sixteen nieces and nephews and their families.  A huge thank you to Mel’s numerous friends as you helped him out in so many ways. Uncle Mel marched to the beat of his own drum accepting help from very few people but always willing to help out someone he thought was in need.  A hard working self-employed labourer, he worked until he was over 80. The last three years were spent in the comfort of his suite. Funeral Service will be held at Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, Regina, SK on Tuesday, January 2, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. A private family interment will be held at a later date.
