Obituary of James Arnold Stonechild

James Arnold Stonechild, late of Regina, SK passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 9, 2018 at the age of 78 years. He was predeceased by his first wife Beatrice “Bunny” Desnomie; children, Michael, James, and Bradley; parents Jim and Bella Stonechild; siblings, Millicent, Ila, Bernice, Isabelle, Dennis, Leon, Wayne, Walter, and Dorothy; as well as his second wife Emily Thomas. James is survived by his daughter Yvette (Zoltan), grandson Matt (Albanie), great-grandchildren, Matt Jr., Nina, Novah, and Neriah, granddaughter Jessica (Dexter) Wilson, great-grandson Zoltan; step-daughter Nicole, grandchildren, Chris, Stephen, and Nicolas; daughter-in-law Brenda, grandchildren, Blossom (Steve) and Michael, great-grandchildren, Mira, Ethin, Matthew, and Bradley, grandson James; daughter-in-law Lynn, granddaughter Angelina (Jordan), great-grandson Jace, granddaughter Kathleen (Tyler), great-granddaughters, Rae and Scarlett, grandsons, Jamie and Jordan; as well as numerous other relatives. Wake will be held at Peepeekisis First Nation School on Friday, January 12, 2018 at 5:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at Peepeekisis First Nation School on Saturday, January 13, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. Interment in Free Methodist Cemetery in Peepeekisis First Nation.
