Obituary of Thomas Carleton Lane

Thomas, of Regina, SK, passed away on Friday, February 9, 2018 at the age of 76 years. He was predeceased by parents Dr. Verne and Hilma Lane; brother Ian Lane; sister-in-law Leslie Roney; and brother-in-law Douglas Crowe. Tom is survived by his wife Susan; daughters Meagan (Patrick), Melonie, and Manda (Shawn); step-son Sam Blair; sister Daphne Crowe and her family; seven grandchildren; five sisters-in-law and their families. Tom loved his children and grandchildren and took great delight in all their achievements. An avid history enthusiast, he enjoyed sharing his knowledge of ancient and military history with others. He leaves us an extraordinary gift through his love of photography, which documented our family life over the last 50 years. He was a kind and gentle soul.  Our family would like to express our sincere thanks to everyone involved in Tom’s care at the Pasqua Hospital during this trying time. At Tom’s request, no funeral service will be held. A celebration of Tom’s life will be held at a later date.
