My deepest sympathies at the passing of your husband and father ..... and to many of us... a friend. John was so filled with passion for all he did. I loved my conversations with him. They were always so thought provoking. He was a wonderful man and will be greatly missed.

Thank you for organizing these opportunities for so many of John's friends to express our condolences for the sadness and difficult time following John's passing. He was much too young and had so much future ahead of him to share with all those who called him a friend.
John and I were friends from high school in Brandon, and stayed in touch throughout his remaining time, visiting with one another whenever possible.
We all feel enriched, in many different ways, for having had John in our lives.

It is with great sadness I give my condolences to Sarah and John’s children and family. It feels like a brother has passed and I will truly miss him. He was coworker in the past and much admired friend and this world will be less bright without him.

I’m so sorry to hear of john’s passing so young.
I remember John as quite a good character.

From our Neelin High School Yearbook ... I think this is John playing at our grad in 1982.

I haven't seen or heard from John since high school more than 35 years ago. Even back then he left quite an impression on me. John was a very special and unique individual. My sincere condolences to all his close friends and family.

Unfortunately for me, I only knew John via Facebook and LinkedIn, but my brother Rod knew him well from their Brandon days and since, and spoke very highly of him. I've since seen that John was clearly a much-loved and respected man who brought depth of life to so many people's lives across many different locales. A unique and treasured soul gone from this world far too soon, especially for his wife Sarah, his two sons, and close family members. My heart hurts for your anguish and your loss and I wish it weren't so. It is heartbreaking and of little solace right now, but I fully believe John is still here with you, right there next to you, and he will continue to help you navigate your lives from the other side. RIP John Miller. You will be missed by so very many.

John and I got to know each other in Brandon three decades ago and, while we rarely saw each other, even then, we kept our friendship going electronically. Every time we wrote we vowed to get together...of course. His was a warm and humorous spirit. How very sad that he's gone.
Warmest Regards,
John Hamilton, Winnipeg

I wish to express my condolences to John's family and friends. I knew John in Brandon in the early 1980s. I was honored to sing at his first wedding. I also sang with him at Susan Korstrom's wedding reception. In recent FB posts John expressed his enjoyment of traveling with Sarah.
I hope to join you if there is a service in Winnipeg. My cell is 587-784-1079

My most sincere sympathies on the loss of this amazing man. My heart breaks for Sarah, who has lost her new husband at the beginning of their life together; for his children, who just lost their mother last year; for the many friends and family members whose lives John touched. He was loved and will always be loved.
