Obituary of Maria Stober

MARIA STOBER (née van Eÿk)

Maria Stober passed away with her daughters by her side on Wednesday, February 21, 2018 in Regina Pioneer Village at the age of 94 years. She will be sadly missed by her daughters, Cathy and Diana; sister Mies and family, relatives, and friends. Maria was predeceased by her parents and her husband Adam.  Maria was born in Holland, and came to Canada as a war bride. She and Adam made their life in Regina and Maria made a career out of raising her family and homemaking. She was an excellent cook, seamstress, and a very fussy housekeeper. Maria loved classical music, especially opera, and found much joy in knitting and crocheting. She and Adam celebrated 64 years of marriage just before he passed away in 2010. Now they will be together again. Funeral Mass will be held at Holy Cross Parish, 315 Douglas Avenue E., Regina, SK on Tuesday, February 27, 2018 at 10:30 a.m.
