Obituary of Robert Irwin Cranna
ROBERT IRWIN CRANNA
1949 – 2018
Bob, a life-long Regina citizen, will no longer be asking in fun for any kiwi milkshakes, homemade pies or banana splits. He died with hope in his heart Thursday, January 4, 2018. Bobby began life with strikes against him, but he fared well with the understanding of family, friends, school teachers, work associates, caregivers, and even acquaintances who may not have known his name. Predeceased by parents Don and Eileen (Swalm) Cranna and brother Kenneth, Bob has left a gap that only memories can fill for sister Marilee (Al) Toews; nephew Derek (Jody) Cranna and nieces, Karen (Albert) Chan and Nadawn (Brent) Fraser; and all their children, Maeve and Dru Cranna, Hamish and Riley Chan, Kenna and Reed Fraser; Aunt Maria Cranna; and nine of his twelve beloved cousins. He is missed greatly by friends Gary Kivela, Don Fiessel, Doug Diggle and others. Could Bob, solitary cyclist, solar artist, music lover, and most of all friend, be figuratively "pedaling the pathways of Heaven"? Tribute Time for Bob will be held at the Chapel at Riverside Memorial Park, 815 Assiniboine Avenue E., Regina SK, on Saturday, May 12, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. with interment to follow. To honour his love for Regina’s green spaces, a tree will be planted. One favourite stop for Bob was the Royal Saskatchewan Museum. If friends so wish, it would be fitting for donations to be sent to Friends of the Royal Saskatchewan Museum, 2445 Albert Street, Regina, SK S4P 4W7.
