Obituary of Katherine Alvina Zazulak

“OUR BUTTERFLY LADY”

JANUARY 8, 1917 – MARCH 5, 2018

Katherine passed away peacefully at the age of 101 years. She will be lovingly remembered by daughter Shaaron Dally (Larry-deceased); sons Maurice (Irene) and Michael, all of Regina; five grandchildren, James (Cathy) Dally, Kathy Dally (Sonny), Kerrie (Rory) Hoffman, Steven Zazulak (Rania) and Allyson; ten great-grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Katherine was born in Weyburn, SK to Jack and Louise Bracey. She was raised in Verwood, where she met the love of her life Steve Zazulak. They were married in 1938 and moved to Regina in 1950 with two small children in tow. After settling in Regina, Michael was born. Katherine overcame many challenges in her life, the death of Steve in 1980 being the greatest. She was also predeceased by her siblings Ethel, twin to Wallace (Annette), Maurice, Percy (Beth), Leo (Gwen) (Betty), Lois (Dennis)  Gregory. Service will be held at Holy Child R.C. Church, 2636 7^th Avenue East, Regina, SK, on Monday, March 12, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. A private family interment will be held in Riverside Memorial Park at a later date.
