Obituary of Beulah Watts
WATTS, Beulah
Beulah lived a full and long life. On Friday, March 23, 2018, Mom passed away at Elmview Extendicare in Regina, just days after her 93rd birthday. Mom is reunited with her brothers, sisters, and Curt Watts, the man who dedicated his life to loving her. We are so grateful for the love and dignity both Mom and Dad were shown at Elmview. Mom was born Beulah Jackson in Golburn, SK in 1925. She was the second oldest in a family of seven children. Mom worked much of her life, first as a telephone operator, then as a clerk at Robinson’s, Trotter’s Drugs, and Sears. As a young woman, she loved to sing in both her church and a local women’s choir. In 1969, Mom and Dad moved from their family and friends in Tisdale to Saskatoon for continued work with CP Rail. Mom loved to watch curling and golf and to play bridge with her friends. She thoroughly enjoyed any opportunity to go out for a meal with friends or family as well. Mom and Dad built a second home at Candle Lake, where they enjoyed time with their son Larry and his wife Glenis and many friends. Our parents relocated to Regina in their later years to be closer to the care and love of their daughter Wendy. Grammie and Papa loved to follow the travels and accomplishments of their grandchildren, Ben, Josh, Meagan, Matt, and Amy and delighted in all eight great grandchildren.
