1945 – 2018
Charlotte, late of Regina, SK and Grandview Beach, SK, passed away peacefully in her home, with her son by her side on Sunday, April 8, 2018. She was predeceased by her parents, Josef and Elizabeth Sirke and her infant sister Wilhelmina. Charlotte will always be loved and missed by her son Jason; brother Rudy (Iris) Sirke and their children Kara and Erik; sister Christa Donaldson and her son Ned (Juanita); as well as other extended family in the US, Austria, and Germany. She will also be missed by her special friend, Trudi Pittman, who was always there to help when needed most. Charlotte came to Canada from Austria in 1950. She spent the first years of her life in Yorkton, then moved to Regina for her schooling, pursuing her career, raising her son, and enjoying life with family and many friends. Charlotte had a long career as an ophthalmic technician, working at a number of optical dispensaries in Regina. She loved to travel, especially during her early years, but her favorite place to go was her cottage at Grandview Beach, where she spent many happy summers. A private family Graveside Service is being held at a later date.
