Obituary of Robert Liddle

Robert (Bob) Liddle, late of Regina, SK, passed away on Sunday, April 22, 2018 at the age of 62 years.  Predeceased by parents John and Ann Liddle; father-in-law John Bozsik, Bob is survived by his loving wife of 32 years, Marcia; son Sheldon (Stephanie Sharpe); mother-in-law Margaret Bozsik; sister-in-law Bev (Jeff) Holt; brother-in-law Randy (Bernie) Bozsik; nieces and nephews.

Bob was born and raised in Regina, SK. He attended the University of Saskatchewan where he studied to become an accountant. For two years he worked at the Saskatchewan Liquor Board head office as an auditor. It was there that he met the love of his life, Marcia. They married in 1985. Also in 1985, Bob started working at the Canada Revenue Agency, where he remained until retirement in 2012. After retirement, he enjoyed going out for lunch with the other retirees.

From an early age, Bob had an interest in collecting sports cards. He would often attended collectible shows to expand his collection. Bob enjoyed watching a variety of sports. His favourite teams include the Toronto Maple Leafs and Tottenham Hotspurs.

A special thanks to Dr. Salim and staff at the Allan Blair Cancer Clinic for their commitment to Bob’s care over the years. Also, thanks to the staff at Wascana Rehab who always provided compassionate care and support during the times he spent there.

Service will take place at Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, Regina, SK on Wednesday, April 25, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, friends so wishing may make donations, in memoriam, to the Canadian Cancer Society Saskatchewan Division, 1910 McIntyre Street, Regina, SK S4P2R3.
