These past several days have been the hardest for me, yet very meaningful as well when I recall how Gord was there for we Solomon girls when, after losing our Dad we were unable to supervise and maintain the family property at Regina Beach. Our summers together had been a high light for us and for our families over the past and near sixty years. To Vaughn and George and Whitney..' Dear Vaughn & Family. Sharon and I where very saddened to hear of Gord's passing. He and I had some great times together at the RUSI and both of us enjoyed the times with the both of you. I enjoyed the times when a few of us would get together for a sociable or two. We had planned a visit from our digs in Cornwall and he and you were on our list of people to see. Gordon, praying you are finally resting in peace, with no more pain & illness. You will never be forgotten by your family. All the years we lived next door to each other bring back many happy memories to Sandy & Christie ( your nieces) and it goes w/out saying you will be reunited w/your “pork chop” ( nephew Ricky) as you called him when he was little What a Special bond you two shared.
