Obituary of Dorothy "Dodi" Elizabeth Redmond
March 19, 1927 – July 20, 2018
On her own terms and surrounded by love, Dorothy (Dodi) Elizabeth Redmond peacefully left this world on July 20th to rejoin her soulmate Fred. Her memory will be cherished by her children Cheryl Simmons (Jack Cronkhite) and Dawn Redmond-Bradley (Tom Bradley), their families and her sister Evelyn Young.
Mom was our matriarch and our mentor. She taught us to see and appreciate the beauty in this world and to understand the value of compassion and the importance of life-long learning. She taught us to be inquisitive. Mom was wise, creative and exceptionally thoughtful. She treasured her many friendships both old and new and she’ll be remembered for her great sense of humour... and style.
A sincere thank you to the staff at Victoria Park and to Mom’s special circle of caregivers.
As Mom wished there will be a private family service.
