Irene was so kind and so fun loving. She supported Don and all his Shrine Drum Corps events and brought so much laughter... especially on the frequent bus trips that the group took together. No job was too large or too small for Irene when it came to helping others. She was a welcoming hostess and oh so proud of her kids and grandkids. Her presence has been missed, along with Don's, and I'm relieved they are happily reunited and with Todd.

I worked in Recreation at Pioneer Village and met Irene when she first entered the ward. She was a beautiful , loving lady, always wanting to help out in any way she could. May she now rest in peace with Don. My sincere condolences to the family.

Nancy Anne, Bruce and families, I am so sorry to hear of the loss of your Mother. I have such fond childhood memories of her and your dad. Your home was always such a great place to spend time - from swimming in the pool, card games in the kitchen, or playing Barbies in the crawl space. I always felt welcome at your home and your parents were such a big part of that warmth. Although these may be difficult times, please take comfort in the fact that your mom will be fondly remembered. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your families. Bruce, Nancy-Anne and families, I am so sorry to hear of your Mom’s passing. She was a wonderful lady and I’m sure you will miss her. We spent so many wonderful summers with you guys at Laclu and your Mom was always so welcoming and gracious. She treated us like family and I always loved spending time with her. She had so many great ideas for keeping us all busy and having fun. I’m happy she will be reunited with your Dad. They were both so much fun! I hope your memories of your Mom will help you through this difficult time.
