Obituary of William John Williams

Bill passed away on Saturday, August 4, 2018 at the age of 88 years. Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 50 years, Barbara; sons, Malcolm (Lisa), Rick (Christine), and Blair; grandchildren, Sara (James) and Rayna; great-grandchildren, Damian and Lincoln; four siblings, Ethel, Florence, May, and Stan; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Together the family also honours their memories of Bill’s sister Blanche Broad, late of Wynyard, SK, who passed away August 7, 2018, just three days after Bill. Bill grew up and worked on the family farm at Quill Lake, SK. Eventually he settled with Barbara and the kids in Regina, where he worked for the City of Regina for many years, mostly in the Rinks. Bill was a very sociable man and made friends easily. He had a very positive attitude and a great sense of humour. Bill also made many friends at the Extendicare Elmview. The family would like to send special thanks to the staff for the care of Bill over the past six years. A private family interment will be held at a later date.
